There is no penis plastic surgery that has been deemed safe by the FDA, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Urological Association or the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In fact, these organizations have given out statements encouraging men not to get such surgeries.
When the surgery is performed, the suspensory ligament is cut. This ligament attaches the penis to the pubic bone and when it is cut it gives the penis a longer look(due to lack of suspension and more of the penis now falling out of the body). After the initial cutting, skin from the abdomen is grafted onto the shaft of the penis.
When penises are made thicker, fat is suctioned from fatty parts of the body and injected into the penis. In some cases surgeons have used skin from cadavers, or flesh that has been grafted from the buttocks.
Penis enlargement costs approximately 10,000 dollars and is not covered by insurance.
Plastic surgeons have, however, ways to construct penises when trauma from injury or birth defects are present.
